You will see bunches of content on the SERP are not ranking. What does it actually mean? It means a lot of things, for example, the content might not fulfill the criteria or those might not be intent with the search terms, and so many reasons could be not to rank.

So, the main goal of SEO content is to rank and be visible to the targeted audiences. To get that desired position you need SEO content. Because SEO content optimization needs to follow the search engine guidelines and content architecture and design to fulfill the search engine conditions. Above all the searchers who request information by making a search, they find it beautiful, easy to read and understand, and easy to navigate. That’s why SEO content is very important.

How to Generate Content Ideas for Blog

This is the first step to start writing a blog post or content, it should be well-researched and need to be focused. So, how will your content plan or strategy go for it? First of all, i would say, you have to be clear about the niche you want to cover in your content, and the audience you are targeting.

Though some SEO guys think researching keywords is a kind of topic research. I think keywords might be a stand-alone topic but it’s not enough.

For example, if you see the below keywords and the matter will be clear to you.

Some keywords would be-

SEO copywriting

SEO Content Writing

SEO blog writing

SEO article writing

So, the above 4 keywords are partially the same and it does not make sense to write content for each of the keywords. Instead, Writing content focusing on the keyword and others will eventually get into it.

Topic Organizing is Essential

How to organize a topic? There are so many tactics out there to organize a topic. Some SEO gurus maintain their own strategy. But if you want then you can use content up to organize your content in an effective way.

content marketing

Content hubs is a so-called method to organize content. This strategy sometimes works great. A content hub is some of the closely related topics that are from a certain topic.

This way the topics for so many pages reflect the main topic. It will be much more clear if you hear about the words pillar content and cluster content.

Pillar content is content with the main theme. For example, if you think about a topic like biking.

On the other hand, cluster content is the content closely related to the main topic or theme, For example- bike riding health benefits.

This is widely used and has multiple benefits. Here are some examples of it’s benefits.

If you follow this method you will provide more value to your readers by covering so many topics under one roof. So, they don’t have to go to the other website for same types of information

You can cover all the industry topics of your niche in a trustworthy way.

It will help you to build authority in your brand. You can easily interlink your article that is more closely related.

Keyword Implementation on Content Maintaining all Intent

As you know keywords are the phrases people do searches on the search engine. So, keywords need to be implemented on your content thoroughly, so that Google or other major search engines can understand what the topic is about.

So, the thing is, you have to pick and put all types of keywords with the intent on your content. You should not target every article or blog as a selling piece. In the previous article, I discussed the 4 types of keyword intent, For your reminder, those are- informational, navigational, transactional, and commercial.

For this, you will get benefited from the below way-

You’ll establish yourself as an authority in the field

You’ll build trust and brand awareness

You’ll reach new users (that may convert later)

Content Architecture with Presentable Design

Content architecture or information presented on the page is crucial to maintain. This will help understand Google and other search engines about a certain webpage. So, the way you want to design and interlink between two of your web pages will greatly impact searches.

The reason behind this is huge. Because search engines largely perceive links as votes to each other pages. It also enhances credibility and tells Google about the page’s main concept.

Though it’s kind of on-page SEO factors to learn internal linking. But it’s a damn crucial matter to obey when you will architect your page for the users and for the search engine.

In this understanding, you have to make sure of one another thing. The thing is the anchor text. Anchor text is the phrase we use to link to another webpage from a certain webpage. You have to make sure the anchor text is unique and descriptive.

Content design and architecture

Another thing to keep in mind is that linking to another webpage with an anchor text is good practice. But you should not use your main keywords to link pages.

LSI Myth on SEO Content Optimization

I have seen so many SEOs try to implement LSI phrases in their content. LSI stands for latent semantic indication. It means using the synonyms on the content thoroughly. Though it’s not working nowadays. Even Google webmaster trends analyst John Mueller confirmed “There’s no such thing as LSI keywords – anyone who’s telling you otherwise is mistaken, sorry.”

So, using lots of LSI on content is a bad practice and very dangerous for SEO and ranking.

Better Design and UX

To design your content on pages, You should maintain such things like

Unique layout and design for the content you are going to rank on SERP

Adding visual multimedia such as images, videos, infographics, gifs, etc. So, a visual appearance could make the audience understand the topic.

Using your own creation or illustration is better than using stock photos.

The other important aspect to think about is the UX of your pages. Because user experiences are the most important thing to consider. Not even Google but people around the world are doing business trying to make their users satisfied on a first-priority basis.

Make sure the text is readable, so the Reader can easily read it. Things to keep in mind about the font size, color, grammar errors, etc.

Try to avoid a long wall text instead write short and easy-to-digest paragraphs

Use easy navigational technology like a table of content, info box, bullet list, quotes, etc. And finally, optimize the technical aspects like an expert.

Quality of SEO Content

Google and other major search engines like bing, yahoo are now more conscious of the term quality. Their algorithms are updated every second to provide quality and resourceful information to their user.

How to write quality content

So, when the word “content” comes, its quality comes 100 times. There are a lot of strategies content creators follow to create and deliver to the real audience. It’s better to produce 1 quality content than 10 qualityless content on your website.

How to Create a Quality Content for Google

When it comes to submitting content on google, you have to think to be better than the crowd. Because nowadays ranking on google’s first page is much harder than ever before.

So, keep in mind that your content needs to be more thoroughly detailed about a certain topic than your competitors did. Look at the websites that rank on the google first page, take a close look at what they included in their content, and what else you can add to make the topic more clear and resourceful.

Provide updated information and data. Try to be original and try to present unique data and resources. Do internal and external links to the other relevant resources. Do everything to make google and the targeted audiences can find the content helpful, and resourceful. Thus they will think you are an expert in this niche and your trustworthiness will be high.

Ideal Content Length

I have seen so many blogs with low amounts of words, ranking with high volume keywords on Google. From there and after discussing with so many experts in this industry and from a study I have found that content length is not a ranking factor.

So, why do so many people still believe that the longer the content is easy to rank? It’s totally a wrong concept. In my concept, it’s not about the length, it’s all about the quality of writing, how the content narrates a specific topic, and how comprehensive the content depth is.

Though I have found some specific suggestions from reputed SEO bloggers and mentors. For example, a well-known SEO blog backlinko that shows content with above 2000 words has a high chance to rank.

Final Words

Content plays a vital role in every digital marketing and SEO business. Properly optimized content could break the record. To get higher ranking unique quality content with great UI and UX design is a must need.
